Art & Chocolate: ASTEC Fundraiser to inspire and delight
For artistic inspiration and melt-in-your-mouth cocoa creations, ASTEC Charter Schools’ Annual Art & Chocolate Festival is a must-attend, especially if you want to lend support to the student scholars whose education will benefit from your presence.
This second annual event will chocolaty delights lovingly created by ASTEC classes, clubs and sponsors. Attendees can sample the goodies from the student groups while shopping from outstanding artwork by ASTEC’s talented visual artists.
A silent auction will spark bidding wars on a bevy of lavishly appointed gift baskets donated by some of central Oklahoma’s finest artisans, organizations and ASTEC faculty, staff and friends
“At ASTEC, we love to find creative ways to bring attention to our amazing scholars, while challenging them with raising funds to sustain their favorite clubs and groups,” said Dr. Freda Deskin, Superintendent, CEO and Founder of ASTEC Charter Schools. “As a nonprofit charter school, so much of what we do is funded by activities like the Art & Chocolate Festival.”
ASTEC’s Art & Chocolate Festival is set for 6 to 8 p.m. March 3 at ASTEC Charter Schools, 2401 NW 23. Please enter at entrance C.

Attendance to Art & Chocolate is free. To sample 10 pieces of chocolate, attendees can buy a ticket for $5, four tickets for $15 or six tickets for $20. Tickets will be sold at the door.
