

ASTEC Scholars Training to Save Lives
The senior class of 2018 participated in CPR training hosted by MTC's Law Enforcement Officer Training on April 28th, led by Ms. Amanda Eastridge, and our very own Marilena Sauceda - a cadet in the program. Marilena is demonstrating CPR in the middle of two other students. After Marilena graduates from Astec and MTC she will be on staff at MTC as an adjunct instructor - training individuals in CPR as she did at Astec.


Jr. Rotarian earns scholarship

Martinez places in state competition
Congratulations to ASTEC Senior, Samantha Martinez, who competed in a Family Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition and won 2nd Place, qualifying her to compete for Nationals! Teacher Accepted to Attend STEM Seminar
We are thrilled to announce ASTEC's 6th grade science teacher, Ms. Karen Walker, has been accepted into the 2018 Real World Science Summer Teacher Seminar at The National WWII Museum in New Orleans. Scholar Wins Scholarship, Accepted in PLC Class
