ASTEC Charter Schools will return to in-person learning Tuesday, January 25th at the regularly scheduled time. Scholars are to bring their fully-charged computer to school, in their ASTEC assigned case for in-person instruction. ASTEC Charter Schools Fablab Maker Space
ASTEC will be adding a Fablab Maker Space to the curriculum this fall. This class is totally hands-on. Students will use CAD computer systems to design and then build a variety of forms. They will complete their design using tools such as laser cutters and 3-D printers. We are excited to announce the promotion of Casey Rainbolt, M.Ed. from the Dean of Student Success to the middle and high school Headmaster. Ms. Rainbolt is not new to ASTEC. She began her career as a teacher at ASTEC, teaching psychology and the senior capstone class, as well as sponsored Student Council. Later Ms. Rainbolt became our testing coordinator.
