Middle and High School Picture Day (Día de la fotografía en la escuela secundaria y preparatoria)
Tuesday, October 18 Picture day for ASTEC Middle School and ASTEC High School will be Tuesday, October 18th, in the high school mall atrium area. Scholars will take their pictures during their English class. All scholars must be dressed following ASTEC’s dress code. Hair, make-up (including eyelashes), nose rings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and fingernails MUST comply with the dress code. No stickers on IDs are allowed. Scholars are not permitted to wear masks in pictures.

ASTEC Elementary School ASTEC Elementary School scholars will attend school from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday. ASTEC Middle School & ASTEC High School August 23rd - 26th ASTEC Welcome Back Week is a special week-long event that encourages Comet Pride, promotes a welcoming environment and creates unity among scholars. Scholars are encouraged to dress up according to the daily themes throughout the week! Students are expected to wear uniform pants and shoes when wearing T-Shirts for theme days. Students may not attend or participate in any team sport practices (including eSports) until yearly Oklahoma School Sports Athletic Association (OSSAA) physicals are conducted and required paperwork is completed. Elementary Driveline Procedures (Procedimientos de la cadena cinemática de la escuela primaria)
ASTEC has timed the length of our drivelines. Other than the beginning of school when parents of new students are getting accustomed to the process, the driveline takes approximately 30 minutes from beginning to end. We will not release any student from the front parking lot or from the office during driveline.
