The holiday season is almost here! Just $55 provides gifts for one ASTEC scholar in need!
ASTEC Charter School students have a 97% poverty rate. We have a tradition of providing holiday gifts for the most needy of these PreK-12th grade students. The current inflation makes it especially difficult for these families.
ASTEC employees, board members, and the community help these families through the Holiday Angels program. Last year, we provided holiday gifts for 128 children. If you or someone you know would like to be an ASTEC Holiday Angel, please consider a donation of $55 (any amount is appreciated). in one of the following ways:
- By Check - Make the check payable to ASTEC Schools and mail it to ASTEC Charter Schools, Attn: Holiday Angels, 2401 NW 23rd Street, Suite 39A, Oklahoma City, OK 73107. *Note in the memo line “Holiday Angels”.
- By PayPal - Visit www.tinyurl.com/Holiday-Angel or scan the QR code to the right. You can pay through PayPal using a credit or debit card. A PayPal account is not necessary to donate through PayPal.
By donating just $55, you can make the holiday season brighter for ASTEC students!
With the donations, ASTEC counselors purchase gifts from Amazon.com or Target and then they wrap the gifts on the child's "wish list." Families come to the school after hours on the last day of classes before the holiday break to pick up the gifts.
The deadline for donations is Wednesday, December 6th.
