Attention ASTEC 4th and 5th Grade Parents
For the 2023-24 school year ASTEC’s 4th and 5th grade scholars will attend school from home through distance learning on Mondays. Schoolwork will be sent home on Fridays. All work will be written assignments and computers will not be needed. To be counted present for attendance, assignments must be completed and turned in on Tuesday.
This change will put 4th and 5th grade scholars on the same schedule as 6th through 12th grade scholars allowing their teachers to work with the ASTEC middle and high school teachers in planning and learning.
Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd-grade scholars will continue to attend in person on Monday on a shortened 8:00 AM to 1:05 PM schedule.
