ASTEC Charter Schools is excited to invite ASTEC families and the Oklahoma City community to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of our new ASTEC Secondary School building on Thursday, October 8, at 10:00 a.m.
The celebration marks an exciting milestone for ASTEC as we officially open the doors to our new 157,000-square-foot secondary school at 2620 General Pershing Boulevard in Oklahoma City.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place in the gymnasium on the south side of the building and will include representatives from the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the ASTEC Foundation, the ASTEC Governing Board, administrators, staff, scholars, and community partners.
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to tour the new school and see its modern classrooms and learning spaces firsthand. The new facility includes a FabLab/Maker Space for STEM projects, collaborative learning spaces, a gymnasium, and a performing arts center, providing ASTEC scholars with new spaces to learn, create, collaborate, and explore their interests.
The Grand Opening will be a come-and-go event, with tours and refreshments available following the ribbon cutting.
