3/13 - PreK- 1st Grade Music Concert
Tales and Tunes: A Whimsical Journey Through Stories and Music is March 13 from 6-7 PM in the Elementary Cafeteria, 2600 General Pershing Boulevard, OKC!
- Pre-K will dress up as pigs and wolves to perform The 3 Little Pigs.
- Kinder will be monkeying around, playing rhythms to Hand Hand Fingers Thumb.
- 1st grade will showcase storytelling techniques to In the Hall of the Mountain King

4/1 or 4/2 & 4/4 - Calling all Future ASTEC Cheerleaders!
Join us for the ASTEC Kiddy Cheer Camp, a fun and exciting camp where 1st- 7th-grade scholars will learn cheer skills, build confidence, and perform at the ASTEC Homecoming Soccer Game!
- April 1st – 1st to 4th Grade
- April 2nd – 5th to 7th Grade
Practice Time: 4:30-6:00 PM
Practice Location: Crosstown Gym (2433 NW 30th St, OKC)
Game Day Performance: April 4th
Game Location: 2600 General Pershing Blvd
Game Admission: $7 for adults
(Parents who register their child will receive two FREE entry passes to the game!)
Camp Cost: $25 per participant (includes a camp T-shirt)

An Important Message from ASTEC
Help us keep the driveline safe and smooth! No left turns from May onto General Pershing—use the right-turn lane and wait in line. Cutting in from the left is a serious safety issue, and violators will meet with the Headmaster.
Reminder: No checkouts after 2:30 PM. Parents arriving after this time will be turned away.

New Elementary Monthly Birthday Celebrations!
Starting in February, we’re designating one special day each month to celebrate scholar birthdays!
As a HealthCorps school, we strive to balance fun with wellness and learning. This change helps scholars enjoy their treats while keeping classroom time focused and productive!
Monthly Birthday Celebration Dates:
- February 28
- March 28
- April 25
- May 16
A few important reminders:
- If your scholar has a birthday this month, their teacher will coordinate with parents.
- These events are parent-sponsored (teachers and the school will not provide celebration items)
- All treats must be store-bought (no homemade items).
