From December 8 to 12, ASTEC scholars across the district will be celebrating a festive week of school spirit! Our High School Student Council has designed fun theme days for everyone, and both the elementary and secondary school campuses are joining in on the excitement.
Monday, 12/8 – Christmas Colors
Kick off Winter Week in red, green, and white! Outfits should be comfortable, respectful, and school-appropriate.
Tuesday, 12/9 – Disney Day
- Secondary: Show your Disney spirit with themed shirts or simple character-inspired outfits! (No full masks, props, or anything that disrupts learning.)
- Elementary: Students may wear Disney-themed apparel or dress as their favorite Disney character. Costumes should be simple, classroom-friendly, and should not include full masks, props, or items that interfere with the learning process.
Wednesday, 12/10 – Cozy Flannel Day
Stay warm and stylish in your favorite flannel + jeans combo. Jeans must follow ASTEC guidelines—no excessive rips or distressing.
Thursday, 12/11 – Ugly Sweater Day
Bring out your most festive (or fabulously ugly!) holiday sweater. Keep it school-appropriate and classroom-friendly.
Friday, 12/12 – Santa’s Workshop Day
We’re closing out Winter Week with district-wide fun!
- Secondary: Dress as Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves, reindeer, snowmen, or other North Pole characters. (No full masks or disruptive accessories. Pajamas are not allowed at secondary school.)
- Elementary: Cozy up for Pajama Day and bring a favorite stuffed toy to celebrate the end of a magical week!
Dress Code Reminder:
No ripped/torn jeans, hoodies, pajama bottoms, sweatpants, or leggings are permitted at the high school on any day. Elementary pajama day applies only on Friday for elementary scholars.
Let’s make this Winter Week fun, festive, and full of Comet spirit across all ASTEC campuses!
