ASTEC Charter Schools is proud to maintain safe, healthy learning environments for all scholars and staff. In full compliance with the federal Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) — 15 U.S.C. § 2641 and 40 C.F.R. Part 763 — our facilities have been inspected and certified as asbestos-free.
ASTEC’s buildings contain no asbestos-containing materials and meet or exceed all federal and state safety standards. Documentation confirming AHERA compliance and inspection records are maintained by the district and are available for review upon request.
