Later Ms. Rainbolt became our testing coordinator. Upon completing her master’s degree in education, she transitioned to the school counseling role within ASTEC. Ms. Rainbolt spent the last few years completing her school psychometry certification as well as school psychology coursework. Currently, she is working to achieve her administrative certification.

Ms. Rainbolt is a proven leader with a strong connection to students, families and the community. She enjoys being active in the community through utilizing her counseling skills.

Ms. Rainbolt has experience serving on trauma and crisis response teams as well as teaching social and emotional learning. She is passionate about advocating for children. She is excited to help scholars “achieve their highest potential.” When she is not working, Ms. Rainbolt enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Dr. Deskin, ASTEC founder and CEO said, “Ms. Rainbolt is a proven leader with a strong connection to students, families and the community. Her enthusiasm is contagious and our scholars are fortunate to have her as their Headmaster.”

When asked about her feelings about her new position, Ms. Rainbolt said, “I am honored to lead a school with such dedicated scholars, supportive families and extremely talented administrators, faculty and staff. I feel very fortunate to have been connected to the ASTEC family since 2012. I am proud to have grown in my professional experience throughout ASTEC. Transitioning to this role will allow me to support our district in rich learning opportunities while maintaining the high standards our district has to offer.
