Spirit Shirt Fridays
All ASTEC grade levels, including elementary grades, may wear their ASTEC spirit shirts on game day Fridays as a show of support for the ASTEC basketball team games.
Students may wear their spirit shirts with their uniform pants, belt, and shoes on the following dates:
- November 17
- December 1 & 8
- January 5, 12, & 26
- February 2 & 9
New Security Measures
ASTEC has implemented new basketball security measures to help ensure everyone's safety.
• Bags larger than 6" x 9" are NOT permitted in the gym.
• All bags are subject to being searched.
• Badges are required for ASTEC scholars and visiting scholars unless accompanied by an adult.
• Security wanding will be conducted for patrons entering games.
