ASTEC's 2026 Fall Enrollment Happening Now!

ASTEC is a free public charter school serving scholars from Pre-K through 12th grade.

Enrollment is open to all families and follows a clear, fair process established by the state of Oklahoma, which includes a random lottery drawing (February 20, 2026) and a first-come, first-served open enrollment period (February 21, 2026) after the lottery.

During the statewide charter school lottery window (December 1–February 13, 2026), families submit an enrollment form through EnrollOKC to be considered for available seats. If applications exceed capacity in any grade level, a randomized lottery will be held on February 20, and families will be notified of their status, including waitlist placement if applicable.

ASTEC accepts students in the following order:

  1. Returning scholars who submit their Intent-to-Re-Enroll form by the stated deadline.
  2. Siblings (of current ASTEC Scholars) in good standing with their sending school, and children of ASTEC employees
  3. New Students - ASTEC selects new students initially through a random enrollment lottery drawing, followed by an open enrollment process as space becomes available. Oklahoma charter schools are required to prioritize students from their school district first and then allow students from outside the district if seats remain available.
