ASTEC Charter Schools has begun taking enrollment applications for new and returning students for the 2021-22 school year.
Current ASTEC students will be mailed an intent to enroll form with a self-addressed, stamped envelope on Monday January 11. In addition, an online form has been sent to all ASTEC scholar’s email addresses. You may choose to return the form in either format.
Please return the form by January 29.
Applications returned after January 29 will be placed at the bottom of the lottery list below the new lottery students.
All new students must apply for the lottery system through the SMART Choice Application (One App) online at: https://oneappok.com/login.
The lottery will be held February 12, 2021.
If a family has more than one student applying for the lottery an entry must be made for each student.
Siblings of current ASTEC students will be placed at the top of the selection list, but must still enter the lottery system on One App before the deadline.
For assistance applying through the Smart Choice application system please call ASTEC at 405-947-6272. An ASTEC staff member will schedule a time to meet with you in person and assist you with entering the lottery.
If you live outside the boundaries of the Oklahoma City Public School District you must complete the OKCPS Open Transfer Form.
If you are unsure if you are outside the boundaries of the Oklahoma City Public School District, please visit the district’s website HERE and enter your full street address into this system.
