Established in 2000, ASTEC Middle School offers 6-8th grade education to students in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. We emphasize the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each child and strive to instill high standards for academic integrity and leadership in our students. Through our programs, students are given the technology, skills, and knowledge to be effective members of our school community and global society. ASTEC assures that the values and skills of every scholar are respected. Our policy of inclusion means scholars are exposed to a multicultural curriculum that introduces new ideas and experiences. ASTEC Charter Schools began in 2020 as the first start-up charter school in Oklahoma. This year, 2025, marks ASTEC's 25th anniversary. Thank you parents, scholars, community partners, and patrons for your unwavering support!
Great news! Construction is underway on the new ASTEC Secondary (Middle/High) School! Construction crews will be out every day, weather permitting, until the June 2026 completion date. The future is bright for ASTEC Charter Schools!
