Hello ASTEC Parents and Scholars!
My name is Catisha O'Rear, your ASTEC Middle School counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University and spent nearly a decade working at a nonprofit mental health agency, supporting children and families through advocacy, emotional support, and family-centered services.
I am passionate about supporting scholars’ social, emotional, and academic growth. I am here to help you and your scholar navigate everything needed for a successful middle school experience and beyond.
